Ionic Solutions presents pilot results at Saskatchewan Chief Power Engineer Conference
On October 30th, 2024, Ionic Solutions will be presenting pilot results from our Taylor Trailer pilot in the District of Taylor, BC, and expanding on how these results are informing our ongoing work in the power sector, at the Saskatchewan Chief Power Engineer Education Conference in Saskatoon, SK.
Ionic Solutions’ C-EDR technology removes minerals from ground and surface water sources with unrivalled efficiency and using an incredibly low amount of electricity. As such, it is capable of enhancing or replacing many desalination solutions commonly used in the power sector, including reverse osmosis and lime softening.
Ionic Solutions is currently piloting it’s C-EDR technology with two of North America’s largest power utilities.
The conference aims to create a forum for Chief Power Engineers to gather and share common industry updates, best practices and discuss changes that impact their day-to-day operations. It will include presentations on a variety of topics that are relevant to Chief Power Engineer roles and responsibilities as per the provincial Act and Regulations – including water technology, steam piping design, and control room ergonomics.
